Pros

There were people there who were lively, smart and incredibly good hearted. It made for some nice moments.

Cons

It was a very painful experience there as I was a witness to bullying, backstabbing and a general toxic environment day in and out. During my time there, people began quitting without having another job lined up. That should have been my first clue. I was personally stifled in my professional development and made to feel every day that my work was awful and pointless. I believe that it was a way to force me to leave but I'm glad for it. I now work somewhere where I am respected, my work praised and I have regained my confidence in my abilities after being torn down here. I know that there will be more positive reviews left here and an attempt to discredit those who have left negative ones. But the sad truth is that nothing at this company will ever truly change. It will always be a place where bullies lead and top talent will continue to flee once they realize that they can do better.

Pros

Working at Timberlane has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The company strikes a rare balance between honoring tradition and pushing innovation. From our heritage in luxury exterior shutters and garage doors to the new product lines and digital transformation projects, there’s a true sense of pride in craftsmanship and excellence here. Leadership genuinely values employee input and encourages creativity. The marketing, sales, and product teams collaborate closely, and there’s real investment in technology—from AI-driven tools to Shopify migration—that makes our jobs more efficient and future-focused. It feels like you’re part of something that’s growing and constantly improving. The culture is supportive, professional, and team-oriented. Whether you’re in the shop building shutters or in the office developing strategy, there’s a shared commitment to delivering “the world’s finest shutters.” The company also cares about community impact, with meaningful initiatives like historic restoration partnerships and donations.

Cons

Like any company growing and innovating quickly, things move fast—adaptability is important.

Pros

- Salesforce and Hubspot are great & not always available at all sales jobs - management wants you to succeed and they are transparent with you - frequent trainings

Cons

- trainings can be very hyperfocused on exact verbage and you kind of are lead down the path of using a script when speaking with customers - training is limited to you and your business director, the online modules are only revolving around product knowledge - management is heavily monitoring your output so you have to log your activities by 1pm and again at 3 or 5pm daily - salary is basic minimum and commission % is minimal
