Is this your company?

Pros

Some of the vets are good people, most reception and techs are nice, some low cost wellness services for clients, no experience needed, okay to work part time while in school, small raise and promotion after a few months then a year

Cons

Low pay, no offer to move up to full time employment or benefits even though I worked 36 hours per week, CEO often lectures and makes rude and/or racist comments to staff, avoid paying you overtime, very very difficult to request time off or trade shifts, very poor quality of care for hospitalized pets (few or no walks for dogs and no litter boxes used for cats), poor quality equipment and services (the dryer for laundry was broken for over 3 months so we had wet towels for pets, the gas anesthesia machine was broken for over 6 months so everyone was breathing in isoflurane)

Pros

Tricity Veterinary Hospital is a great company to work for, providing a positive culture and plenty of growth opportunities. The management appreciates each team member’s contribution to the facility’s success in delivering high-quality, affordable veterinary services. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to work with animals.

Cons

The establishment seems short-staffed, and would do even much better with more team members.

Pros

Good place to to gain experience and further your hands on skills.

Cons

Bad management, micro managing on many aspects. They don’t communicate and you have to keep reminding everyone when you need something. Lots of favoritism in the work place and sometimes for incompetent employees, good luck getting consistent hours. Can be a toxic work environment because they hire really young students to avoid having to pay higher wages and benefits.Huge turnover because of this.
