Pros

Great company vibe and culture, motivating, lot of things that are new to work on and learn.

Cons

Can be overwelming and too many issues to deal with, some people are negative and some directors can be micromanagers. Can be high stress and tempt you to quit.

Pros

Senior leadership consistently show that they care about employees and are committed to creating a positive and supportive environment. My current manager has also been fantastic. They give me the independence and space to think creatively, make decisions, and contribute in my own way. It is empowering to work with a team that trusts your judgment and encourages independent thinking. Overall, the culture feels stable, supportive, and genuinely people-focused.

Cons

The pace can be fast which may be challenging for some but it creates an exciting environment for those who enjoy growth

Pros

The technology is very interesting with good goals and development within the industry. Benefits like free lunches, snacks, and flexibility with hours were a plus. A seemingly good place for engineers specifically to get started and get experience in biotech. Coworkers are what make the job worth it.

Cons

Good company for engineers, bad for science. There is a big disconnect with upper management and the rest of the positions. Not a lot of growth in the science department, and lab techs/research associates are viewed as very replaceable and undervalued. The company being a “startup” is often used as an excuse for disorganization and deprioritizing a good management system for tasks and deadlines rather than improvements being made. Disappointing experience for employees eager to learn! Lab experience is not very transferable, which is a downside, but makes sense given the nature of the product.
