Pros

Great team of people that enjoys each other, and are doing work that creates value for our clients. Great office space right in the middle of Downtown Seattle on the 21st floor with 180 degree view of the city. I walk in to the office daily feeling confident that our team will deliver what we promise to our clients The company has been around since 2000 and well managed fiscally - so we have weathered the ups and downs well over the past 18+ years I feel like Senior Management really cares about me and my family, and have made decisions to provide benefits to the employees that most small businesses may not be willing or able to

Cons

For people that are not adaptable, open to change, curious and want to dig deeper - working at UpTop won't be a good fit. The people that thrive at UpTop are the kind of people that may see a problem, take the initiative to research and propose a solution, experiment and test it - and if it fails, try again. I think that in some situations we have kept underperforming employees longer than we should have

Pros

The install was easy. They even asked me if I could bring along a second guy as a "materials handler" to help me take the printer out of the box & move it into the office. They said I would be paid at $18.50 an hour & the materials handler would get $15.00 an hour. It only took 2 hours but they pay a minimum of 4 hours.

Cons

They send you a bunch of paperwork, I-9's, w-4's, they all have to be filled out, notarized, & sent back before you can get paid. But after you send it back it only takes about a week for them to send you a check & the forms are a one time thing.
