Pros
The DatAdvantage product suite solves real challenges that businesses commonly face and have no proper way to solve without using Varonis. There is very little competition in the Gartner "File Analysis" market. The few competitors out there simply report on what is broken, while Varonis actually provides a successful path to fix issues for the customer through automation. Every year I look forward to hearing our product roadmap at SKO, and it has been exciting the past 6 years to actually see that roadmap come to life, continue to grow and deliver results to the customer base. Culture wise, management has a knack for identifying talent, investing in its people and promoting from within. I would recommend to any 20-something looking to get a foot in the door in the cybersecurity industry to apply at Varonis immediately. It is very common to see reps from the inside sales teams at the NYC and Raleigh offices get promoted and relocate to begin their career as field reps. Sales management is very approachable and willing to go above and beyond to help.
Cons
If you are a sales rep looking to coast, this isn't the place for you. The company is very metrics driven. It takes a lot of hard work prospecting and a willingness to strategically work with the channel to find success as a sales rep at Varonis. The good news is the hard work really pays off!
