Cons
Firstly, it is disheartening to note that the company has undergone 3 rounds of layoffs within the span of a year. One of the notable challenges I encountered was the apparent lack of opportunities for professional growth within the organization. Additionally, the dearth of learning opportunities further impeded my professional development. The organizational roadmaps and plans were characterized by their lack of cohesion and organization. Communication inconsistencies were prevalent, with shifts in directives occurring without prior warning. There were lots of uncertainties. Compounding these issues was the continuous increase in responsibilities without corresponding salary adjustments. This accumulation of tasks without commensurate financial recognition was demoralizing. Furthermore, the leadership was an area of concern. While assurances of a positive trajectory and growth were communicated, the execution of three rounds of layoffs, often without sufficient notice or support for affected employees, raised questions about the efficacy of leadership decisions. The abrupt disconnection of accounts while one was in the layoff calls, preventing access to personal files, was perceived as both questionable and disrespectful.
