I worked at Workplace Systems full-time

    Pros

Overall a great culture where they did more than pay lip service like most places. They really put honest work and effort into making it a good place to work, and it was evident that it worked in the general satisfaction you saw.

    Cons

There were some bad seeds who needed to go, and are about to be gone.

I have been working at Workplace Systems

    Pros

It has taken me entirely too long to write this review, mainly because I have too many good things to say: Workplace is an incredible place to work. The company culture is absolutely top-notch. While being top-notch includes the employee benefits related to helping us all maintain work/life balance (great holiday/PTO entitlements, paid healthcare, sponsored get-togethers, flexible policies on working from home, etc.), the company culture mainly revolves around a set of Principles that permeate the way business is conducted, both internally among employees and externally with customers. Coworkers are smart, capable, thoughtful and diverse. The product has massive value for our customers, including everyone from the business leaders, to the hourly associate; it’s exciting to be working for a company that provides a solution that affects every part of a business in a positive way. There is confidence in leadership, but a flat structure in terms of hierarchy, so you can have candid conversations with leadership, even in other departments, and everyone is expected to “paddle on” and support each other when needed. This means taking on new roles from time to time. Everyone eats lunch together during the day, which fosters communication and empathy across departments that might be more segregated at other companies. It's truly a unique place.

    Cons

So here we go: the office needs to be bigger....From what I hear, our dental plan could use some improvements. Right now there’s a chasm between a legacy product, and the product of the future...(see advice section) You know when you mention your dental plan as a con, there really aren't any of significance.
