Pros

Great inner CBD location close to most public transport and located near the shopping and entertainment district. Young team with an average age of late 20s to early 30s, Get to know everyone like family. Occasional Social Events & Cake on Birthdays. Product has been on the market for over 10 years and already have significant market share.

Cons

World Manager calls themselves a global company with only 2 offices in Sydney and Dallas Texas. The market is heavily saturated and dependent on innovation. Management style is outdated, they expects high volume, low quality activities, 100+ a day and micromanagement which leads to poor worklife balance. They use one of the worse CRM on the market which is old, buggy and lags. Leads are not divided equality or separated via verticals when majority of clients/prospect are heavily skewed to specific industries. No real B2B consultative sales training within the organisation so don't expect any formal/external training either.

World Manager Response

We always appreciate constructive feedback and take our employee comments seriously. For clarity and transparency, we service hundreds of the biggest house hold brand names in over 50 countries using our platform every day. in 2019 we now have 5 offices around the world with an amazing group of team members who are dedicated to providing VIP treatment to all our Brands daily. We have been listening to our teams over the years and always work on improving how we do business. In early 2018 we implemented world class sales training for all sales people within all our regions. The sales training is continuously run throughout the year with several live training sessions annually. We definitely did have a sub par CRM in place, and now use the best CRM in the market! 94% of all the Brands we have signed in the past 13 years are still with us today. Our teams are proud of this extremely high retention rate. This outstanding stat is a result of the dedicated Relationship Managers we have in our regions as well as the talented developers and testers who are always innovating our platform to keep it cutting edge. The inside sales role is a tough grind. I know this from experience as the only sales person in the company for the first 4 years. This is the one role within our business in all our regions that has high turnover. It is an entry level sales position, and the best way to learn the techniques required to become a future sales gun. We are always looking for ways to make this role more exciting for our people in this role. We continue to tweak our bonus structures, and providing more perks and reasons to celebrate wins as a team. Gary A Valkenburg, Founder / CEO
