I worked at Wyndham Worldwide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, office space, facilities, some friendly people

    Cons

Lack of leadership skills, they have no idea what they want. They make you take 4 rounds of interviews and take 3 months to hire you. You would go crazy wondering if it has worked out or not. Then they spell your name wrong everywhere which takes forever to be corrected. The manager gives you one sentence instructions on humongous tasks in your 3rd week and then does not even bother to give you any background on what is expected. You assume something and do it and then you are told that you dont understand instructions. If your opinion differs from your manager's you're screwed because you are but a mere employee and he/she is the manager! When you ask for direct feedback you are told to email the files and when there is a back and forth of emails, you are tol d that there is multiple exchanges of files which is just a wastage of time and resources. You are looked at like an insect if you say that you cannot work beyond 5 because everyone else in the team is more than willing to put in 10 hours a day and you cannot because of personal reasons.

They simply know how to play with careers.

    Advice to Management

Listen to what the candidate says in the interviews and hire them based on that and not what you assume. Give time to new employees to adjust to the company.
