      Pros

      Great culture, great team, fun industry. Management does a great job at fostering employee growth. After some time working here it becomes clear that the owners are in it not purely for the money, but because they care about putting out quality work and being part of a unified team.

      Cons

      Challenging work! However, the right people won't see that as a con. Often times those challenges stem from growing pains common to many small and growing companies. It requires employees to be able to step up and think critically.

      Pros

      - Amazing people to work with - Challenging work that helps you grow as an engineer - Hands-on experience on current projects - Supportive environment - Great at listening to employees and matching them with their career goals - Flexibility for students and their classes

      Cons

      This is not really the company's fault but since ZIO is expanding so quickly, there were a lot of changes that resulted in my superiors being very busy and sometimes not able to assist me further with training, but I completely understand the situation and they still managed to teach me lots about AV and lighting.

      Pros

      The potential of career growth and promotion is unlimited. I report directly to one of the principals of the company, and the ownership is like no other company I've worked for in the past. They have an open door policy, and are constantly looking for input from their team members to better the company. All input is taken into serious consideration, and many ideas are implemented. The company has a great family feel. We are able to have a great time at work, doing what we love to do. This job has provided a new opportunity for me. It allows me to work on multi-million dollar projects, and see to the customer having a fully functional system that meets and exceeds their expectations.

      Cons

      I work in the Atlanta office, helping to grow our footprint in Atlanta. Helping to grow a new branch geographically away from the team can be difficult. But I'm confident that ZIO will develop the same great culture in the Atlanta office, as is present in the other branches
