Toxic and deceitful management. Heavy drinking & partying C-Suite wants to be "liked" rather than to lead. CEO office hours are basically internal marketing sessions to convince employees how "good" Zennify is or to be "patient" while they continue making the same poor decisions. Accountability is one way - downward. Feedback is readily given to front line employees, but any upward feedback to management thank isn't "You're Great!" gets a defensive response or worse. Management is known for making promises and not keeping their word. Also, if you are a POC, beware. Their DEI initiative is functionally a marketing initiative. They will happily host a Zoom panel to show diverse faces of employees, but the Equity and Inclusion ends when the Zoom meeting ends. The CEO declares, "We need to do better at retaining Black talent," but there is little to no follow through. It's all platitudes. Overall, Zennify is not a meritocracy. There are incredibly talented employees on the front lines who are very skilled, but they are overseen by management who are in over their heads. It is obvious the company was built by individuals who were very talented at building Salesforce, not building businesses. Nepotism and favoritism exist. Layoffs affected competent front-line staff but somehow, management that created the financial mess and poor culture that had significant churn before the layoffs kept their jobs. When they say they are a "People First" company, they actually mean "Their People First"
