Pros

High caliber work from some of the most talented artists in town in a cutting edge, well set up facility. In a shrinking and ever changing industry they are a leader and pushing the cutting edge.

Cons

Like much of the VFX industry you will be worked as close to your breaking point as they can push you. 14-20 hour days are common as are weekends, particularly during pilot season. Management only shows respect and appreciation to a small handful of employees and treats everyone else like cogs. Expectations are completely unreasonable and they are happy to work you dangerous amounts and then let you go over small disagreements or situations that are beyond the control of a single individual.

Pros

Solid influx of projects for continuous work. Great management placing staff where needed, but hands off enough to foster independent working style.

Cons

Inconsistent attention to show progress. Individual tech issues tend to get sidelined by larger pipeline management.

Extremely friendly and trasnparent management Lots of learning and growth opportunities Frequent events for employee team building and relaxation Management did their best to limit overtime, and overtime was always fairly compensated in the few occasions when it was required

Cons

Pay was a little low
