I have been working at lululemon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free workout classes, cool people to work with, fast-paced (only at SM location), near the beach

    Cons

Commission has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY over the past few years. You're basically going to make only $15 an hour if you're an "educator" because the daily goals are drastically high and nearly unattainable. You will work your booty off to make those goals, only to have like half of your commission taking away in taxes. For how much energy you put into selling those stretchy pants, you could be making much more $$$ in any other job involving sales. If you have the tenacity to make awesome sales, then you are wasting your potential at this store.

There is no employee parking. You either have to pay $17 a day, (yes, $17!), to park in the structure, or park over a mile away near Montana Ave to park there for free. Most of the street parking is permit only, so you have to park really far.

Getting full-time status is nearly impossible. Even if you work full-time hours, you won't get full-time status, unless management gives you the title. You have to jump through hopes to be full-time.

Male employees are treated better than female employees.

It starts to feel like a sorority. If you're in college and this is just a summer job, maybe you'll like this, but when people, (men, too), in their mid-20s start acting like catty sorority girls, then there's a problem.

The free workout classes were the biggest pro, but now that money is taxed heavily in our paychecks, so it's hardly a pro anymore, and it's not really "free" at that point.

Expect to make less than $100 a day.

    Advice to Management

There's not much you can do here; retail sucks.
