I worked at Equinox Fitness full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

If you’re trying to make a lot of money there’s more than enough room for growth and tons of potential clientele to fill your schedule and keep you busy. Plenty of equipment to fulfill your style of training.

    Cons

Corporate is aggressively involved, they only want you to train how they believe is best. It was a pretty close environment. Floor hours distribution is very unfair to veteran trainers who are trying to have a healthy work-life balance.

I worked at Equinox Fitness full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The company puts a lot into marketing and there is money to be made of you're at the right club.

    Cons

A cult like atmosphere. The higher ups seemed like nice people at first, but once you get to know them they're all dead behind the eyes. That and they have a higher turnover than McDonalds. Tons of churn and burn! Proceed with caution.
