Pros

Privately held, mid-size company with good benefits. Many employees care deeply about the products they produce and the customers they serve.

Cons

FLEXcon is in a state of transition. Unfortunately, during the past several years, some of the best leaders and a healthy number of committed employees have left or are being overlooked/ignored/pushed out while the most political "yes-men" are getting the attention despite their ability to offer any real strategic value to the company. The net result is a burgeoning climate of complacency, mistrust and anger that is adversely impacting the company's ability to deliver.

Pros

It's like a small town within a small town Opportunities for internal mobility Compensation and benefits are appealing Non-Management co-workers are amazing and supportive

Cons

Currently being operated by a "Consultant" who is pushing the company to be very corporate and they're unsuccessfully trying to turn a complex custom manufacturing operation into assembly line work. Most of the elite workforce has moved on. High average employee age so half of them will be retiring within 5 years Very few employees under 40 Rife with gossip

Pros

Benefits - really good benefits

Cons

FLEXcon used to be a great company to work for. Family run and they would do anything to work with you. Now it is a totally different company. Long term employees are being terminated for no reason at all. Time to Find a new job where people are treated better.
