A wonderful place to work, with the right leadership in place

      Pros

Upward Mobility is there if you're able to make an impact. The benefits packages overall are fairly competitive. They're willing to take chances on internal candidates, so building a career from the ground up is absolutely an option.

      Cons

Base Salaries are becoming non-competitive, especially considering the expectations and lack of work-life balance. High level leadership styles vary vastly from district to district, which is a pro or con, depending on where you fall. Initial training for new employees (while improving) is lacking.

      Great place

      Pros

Fast pace job but I worked an average of five hours a morning. I truly enjoyed it. The mangers were easy to get all Along with.

      Cons

There where no downsides for me, I truly enjoyed the work and the atmosphere. The only reason I left was because I was offered a full time job elsewhere. With better pay.

      Excellent First Job

      Pros

The job of a package handler keeps you active and fit. Time goes by fast. Evening shift is ideal for a student schedule.

      Cons

I would say the wage can be seen as the only con. Other than that , its alright. It is what it is.

      Needs improvement on certain things

Jul 8, 2021 - Package Handler in East Nashville, TN

      Pros

Pay is good when they get your hours/rate right. Weekly pay. Job is hard, but simple. Not difficult to do. Good coworkers make it a great place to be.

      Cons

Constantly had to watch my time and pay stubs, because my checks weren’t always what they should’ve been. Management rarely knows anything helpful, and gives you the runaround when there’s an issue. They also clique together like high schoolers, and are very unprofessional. A lot of the time it felt like it was employees vs management, and the employees always got the short end of everything.

      Pros

Able to work other sorts to pickup hours. Full benefits.Medical, Dental, and Vision. 40 hours PTO ( personal time off) per year after 90 days. Benefits after 1000 hours worked if part time. Also tuition reimbursement opportunities to promote after 6 months with the company and other perks too.

      Cons

Can be hot in summer and cold in winter. Must dress weather appropriate. Heavy lifting is required. But can be managed. Job is physical. But doable.

      A Grind

Jul 25, 2021 - Delivery Driver in Manchester, NH

      Pros

Decent pay, reliable hours for the most part. Great if you like to get out of your town for the day. Possibility of higher hourly rate overtime.

      Cons

They push you to work as fast as possible, without day rates. Meaning: they want to pay you less for more work. Hard for owners to keep staff, unclear about the terms and conditions of work environment, hours and pay upon hire. The truck they have me on is a rust bucket with bad brakes and NO air-conditioning. Trainer, though understanding, dumps so much information with little chance to retain any of it.

      Pros

the pay is really high for a starting position. they do give benefits to part time employees that work there for at least 90 days. they allow you to take time off almost whenever. most of the time they dont care if you get overtime hours and pay time and a half. weekends they pay more.

      Cons

this is a tough job that almost requires you to work the whole time you are there. there are no set times on when to start and when you get off they go until the work is finished.

Good place to start, Great gateway to gain experience for better positions. Not long term

Jun 24, 2021 - Operations Manager in Secaucus, NJ
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Pay is great for an Operations Manager - Benefits are great - You can and will be in good shape physically due to the jobs demands - A lot of your job depends on being able to communicate and persuade. Which is great for your resume

      Cons

      - Long Hours - Long Hours - Did I mention Long Hours - High stress environment - On the job training - Opinions aren't taken into account - You will constantly be passed over for promotions if you do not make connections. - Upper Management will make a dollar their way before making 100 dollars anybody elses - On a positive and negative note. Be prepared to cover yourself at all times, to the point where everything should be documented. Even encounters with your managers. Which will help you get better in the long run at covering yourself. - You will hold people accountable to do the job, but they wont get replaced and your KPI's will suffer. - Getting grouped in with the other managers everyday for beatdown sessions even if you meet your KPI's - Management will give you instructions that will make your employees hate you. And then management will turn around and hold you accountable when those employees leave and find a better job.
