I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time for more than 5 years

          Pros

Many business units have authentic genuine leadership that does the right thing the right way. Find your way to those couple of groups. The rest are overworked and have little incentive to stay.

          Cons

Non client facing groups are treated very poorly. Overtime is very high because those groups don’t have exposure to customers so their headcount targets are insanely low. Some of that is understandable but here the disparity in the treatment of people in those business units is beyond unfair. Senior leaders run those groups with a “bully” mentality.

          Advice to Management

Hire smart genuine leaders for all your business units....even the non client facing ones.
