    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Findex full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Encourages great ideas - Forward thinking leadership - Incredibly loyal to hard working staff - Has opened up a lot, most staff working from home locations and/or in more casual attire. Expectation that client-facing staff dress in corporate obviously. - Constant tweaks within the org have helped everyone adapt to rapidly changing circumstances. New leadership structure well liked.

    Cons

    - Plenty of Acquisitions over the years have led to a few bad eggs, or people set in their ways. Most gone now however.

    Pros

online training and presentation are fun and helpful, including off work and work related topics

    Cons

    1. old fashioned and very stuborn; 2. promotion oppotunity is not open and not fair; 3. the shorter you stay, the more chances that you will have a bad/messy client profile; 4. a lot of work are directly dealt by manager and anyone below do not have a chance to be involved in.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Findex full-time

    Pros

    - Location - Coffee and fruit - Smart casual when appropriate - Some nice people but the most talented staff leave within a year or two

    Cons

Expect to be micromanaged to death. Awful place manned by inexperienced "leaders" without the breadth of experience or expertise. Nepotism is rife. They don't promote on merit. Unless you're family/chummy, don't expect flexibility or input in decision-making. They are cheap. Pay is about 30% less than industry standard. No decent budget for salaries, sales, client services, OOTB systems and tools. Higher ups start pet projects in the guise of innovation but all they do is leak $$$. They waste more creating new internal systems that are inefficient and a pain to use. HR is a joke. A lot of paper pushing for naught. Flexibility is only for a select few. Is there a Marketing department? They like to pat themselves on the back and market internally. Culture is toxic and turnover is high. Talented, experienced staff leave after about a year or two. There is no real strategy or direction. I'd be surprised if this place survives. It's a mess.

    I worked at Findex

    Pros

Diverse client base. Lots to learn.

    Cons

Money is almost wasted on useless initiatives (e.g. Difficult-to-use in-house software) that make your day to day job more cumbersome. There's a huge divide between upper management and staff. Can make many feel like "just a number".
