Pros

As a small company, you will have the chance to put your hands on virtually everything that this lab is working on. So you are guaranteed to learn lots of things. The projects can be covering financial/banking software development, embedded systems, system integration, factory supportive software development, technical support scheduling software development, phone operating system development, etc. You name it, the lab is always full of projects from different sources.

Cons

But as you gets older, you can only see your salary growing slowly if luckily, no hope to be promoted to any practically senior position, because the organizational structure is really flat! Don't know if this is good or bad, since people may leave the company before they realize this point. Only those who want to be stable at work without jumping from company to company will find it painful because you want to go up somehow.
