I worked at Foxtel full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The office location - Robina and staff cafeteria level. Channel partner days were lots of fun.

    Cons

I was with Austar before the take over and found the culture shift from fun loving and family focused to very corporate and mundane.

    Advice to Management

Start to inject more into your culture to get more out of your employees.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Foxtel full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Free Foxtel and discounted internet, with regular access to free tickets. Somewhat regular recent attempts to improve moral with birthday cakes and pizza style lunches. TVs everywhere and occasional celebrity visits.

    Cons

So few onshore jobs these day, moral almost none existent, senior management with seemingly little idea how to move forward in a modern era of competition.

    Advice to Management

I am not too sure management can help. The only thing that can save the company is a complete overhaul of pricing so that it is cheap enough for everyone to have it .
