Pros

The positive reviews in Glassdoor are from when the company was family owned. Previously had an incredible work culture under family ownership. Leadership used to mentor and empower employees. Loyalty, experience, and work ethic were recognized and rewarded. Genuine sense of community and purpose.

Cons

After acquisition by Audax Group, culture changed drastically—for the worse. Rapid influx of new hires, often promoted to VP roles without experience New management, especially in the warehouse, lacks accountability and fairness. inconsistent standards, and poor leadership. Communication and decision-making became slow and disconnected. The acquisition by Audax Group marked a dramatic decline in culture, leadership, and integrity. Promised continuity turned out to be a smokescreen. Flood of external hires fast-tracked into high-level roles, many lacking relevant experience or connection to the company’s core values. Veteran employees—those with a decade or more of service—were sidelined or ignored, their institutional knowledge cast aside. Leadership bloat led to confusion, inefficiency, and decision-making that felt more performative than practical. Morale has tanked.
