Pros

Going to work each day was enjoyable, knowing it was going to be something different each day. Worked with a great bunch of people in the operations department who cared about their jobs and integrity of the company. Had an outstanding manager who cared about his people in his department.

Cons

Upper management would say we are like a family and we take care of one another, but the bottom line their only care about themselves. Seniority and dedication should outweigh certain managers of other departments opinions.

Terrible management, don't use the potential of workers, very old mentality and only financial numbers day by day... frequently changes in the management. From excitment to disappointment in weeks.

Stay away from the BTG Worst Practices

Good Benefits Package and nice people (even though being nice is not a good quality under BTG culture)

Cons

1. The BTG culture (Private Equity / Inv. Bank main sharehlder) - no ethics, suuuuuper long hours, overly competitive, zero respect for the other, screams and yells every day, lies 2. Lack of leadership 3. Short term oriented 4. Be ready to work super hard for a year, expecting what they say you will get a huge bonus, then they give you a typical 15% bonus and most likely fire you in the second year (and then the cycle starts again with the next...)
