Pros

- Colleagues were good for the most part - Potential to earn more money compared against similar roles (however not sure about current situation at the company, most likely changed/shifted after K1 partnership)

Cons

- Alpha, 'boys club' sales culture (even with the girls), if you weren't in the 'in' group then it becomes blatantly aware that you'll be overlooked for various duties and given that there's a disconnect between direct managers and C-level high ups, it's doubtful that there'll be much change even after direct appeals - Complete customer manipulation during sales process (pricing changes relative to customers; the pricebook they have is manipulated to the Nth degree) and sometimes even beyond into free usage - Proper, consultative sales training is either impractical or non-existent. - Following acquisition by K1, GoCanvas shifted focus to micro-management of individuals to ensure targets set by K1 are continuously met (from reading other reviews on here, it seems this sentiment is shared across the board), direct quote from a manager "I don't care if I micro-manage you, I'm putting money in your pocket in the end anyway." (This could be a PRO for you if you're driven by that kind of thing)

Hey there, thanks for taking the time to share your candid feedback, we appreciate and grow from hearing your experience and we are sorry to hear you feel this way. We agree that the quality of sales leadership and training is important. As such, we have worked with sales leaders to tweak their schedules to allow them to spend 80% of their time coaching the sales reps on the floor, and our sales trainer is also available on the floor to help reps 2-3 day a week. We also launched our second Sales Training program this month, after the great feedback we got about the Sales Bootcamp earlier this year. Regarding pricing, you are correct there are occasions that we offer free plans to non-profits that our team members sponsor, and to single-user accounts. Supporting very-small businesses and non-profits doing benevolent work has always been important to us at GoCanvas. Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback.

Pros

Unlimited WFH, flexible work hours

Cons

The product is great but it’s potential cannot be utilised by the leadership who lack Vision on its growth Sales culture is dominated by alpha boys and if you don’t fit into that club you’ll be left out Pretty sure a whole bunch of reviews will sound the same, which management knows as well but will do nothing to improve on it
