Pros

- Fully remote / work from home - Flexible working schedule - Some great people to work with at the lower levels

Cons

- Horrible overall culture, high turnover - You and your contributions don't matter and will not be recognized, you're just a number on a spreadsheet - Compensation is way below market, growth opportunities are non existent, expect low single digit increases, even with promotions - There is never budget for anything, teams are running skeleton crew constantly, except for the annual acquisition which there is always budget for - No sense of job security, you will be replaced by cheap labor sooner or later - Prioritize short term profit over long term success and customer satisfaction - Garbage leadership

Pros

Absolutely none! The companies that they acquired were great companies that really cared about their customers, their staff and the industries that they were involved in. They strived to be better companies. Since the acquisition, all they care about is charging premium money for aging product developed for an American market. The sales team will do anything to get a sale, including lying about the products capabilities.

Cons

American Private equity company that only cares about its shareholders. HR is useless and has no understanding about employment regulations in Australia and New Zealand. Products are dated. Executive are more interested in customer care and growth in America, and so you have to question your integrity everyday when customers are asking for improvements, and the product team just give them lip service. Bi-annually there is a talent scoring process, it is a way to put the bottom 10% on a PIP and sack them, instead of saying that they are laying people off.

Thank you for sharing your concerns and feedback. Adapting to change can be disruptive and challenging, especially when that involves joining a new team, new culture and/or way of operating. We acknowledge that the companies we have acquired have been known for their customer-centric approach. This aligns with Granicus’ core values and desire to continuously improve our products and services. We regret that you feel our focus was solely on shareholders and that HR did not meet your expectations regarding employment regulations in Australia and New Zealand. We are committed to enhancing our understanding and compliance in this region and have hired full-time staff to support those regions. Regarding our talent evaluation process, we understand your concerns about its impact on employees, but our intent is to support growth and development through a fair and calibrated process. We have a shared vision across all of our functions regarding how we serve and engage with our employees and customers globally. We thank you for your service and for helping us to continue improving our work environment for everyone.

Pros

None - you have a job, Thats about it.

Cons

It used to be great - colleagues were supportive, and other teams were accessible, supportive, and collaborative. But now staff are being let go without fault, their roles are either not backfilled or they are filled in India - cheaper wages. Teams are understaffed and stretched - there is no sense of job security and growth is non-existent. Rumors are swirling that the company is going to be sold.
