    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Grant Thornton full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Excellent support from the entire team and consistent support settling in and training. Interesting work across a variety of clients & tasks.

    Cons

Managers are a bit of a mixed bag. A majority of the tasks is tax compliance which can quickly get stale and leave you drained. Timesheets suck but I understand why they have us do them. Hopefully there's a better solution to motivate employees while accurately recording time.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Grant Thornton full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great people, fantastic culture. Everyone here has tried to make me feel like I belonged here, and that is truly amazing. It's not every day I come across people who say that they look forward to coming to work and have the best banter with their colleagues. We're all friends here, and there's little to no office politics (at least at our level).

    Cons

Slightly below-average pay. Compared to the Big 4, pay is less. Main reason why people think to jump ship; but it depends on what you value more. People, and the 'why' you wake up early in the morning and come to work, or the payslip that enters your bank account at the end of the month.
