    -great co workers -fun atmosphere -walking outdoors - you get what you put into the job -pay is performance based -room for advancement -develop great life skills; communication, confidence, sales techniques

    Long hours, poor training, no sales = no money (all commission), lots of walking

    Give a base wage to motivate people who may be late blossomers

    Pros

    Good money if you can make sales targets Seems like a fun place to work, very friendly people, good atmosphere

    Cons

    Ask you to sign up for an ABN even though you are still an employee not an independent contractor, also known as 'sham contracting' Commission only pay after the first two weeks Management seems to be unaware of the laws involved with ABN Taking advantage of backpackers by taking away workers rights because they know they won't be in the country long enough to contest them

    Advice to Management

    Offer direct debit payment of employees instead of requesting them to lie on ABN forms in order to receive employment Keep a base rate of pay throughout employment

    - young workforce - constantly changing processes, always learning - you will not get bored here

    Cons

    - have to engage with some really angry customers sometimes - can not really help other than just hearing them out and giving monetary compensation

    Pros

    Can earn good money if your willing to dedicate your life to the role Food once a week Most of all the staff you work with (best place I've worked in that respect)

    Cons

    Have to work very hard No proof that your pay is correct Mark (who helps maintain the Sydney operation) is the biggest failure to the company Staff who are nice people got taken advantage of and worked like dogs. Two were ripped off with pay No van insurance (mark claims there is) - why did people have to pay out thousands on 2 seperate occasions? Everybody knows about the company now

    Advice to Management

    Baktosh is great for the company. No one who joins HF enjoys marks company, in fact, most hate him as he is a complete goat.

    One of the best socials at a company I've worked for Generous pay (but performance based!) Free food for the week Tight knit team atmosphere

    Cons

    Pay can vary from week to week based on sales Some days finished quite late

    • Use ABN loophole to avoid paying a fair wage + super annuation to employees (is this even legal?) • Entirely commission based, even though hours full-time • Exploits those on working holiday visas, who are just looking for a reasonable job and pay • Door to door sales, outside all day long • No line between the social, professional, and possibly offensive • Highest turnover of any job I've experienced...

    Stop exploiting foreigners. Also, it's cool to be all laid back and have fun with employees, but how will you ever be taken seriously by them?
