I have been working at Hertz full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Most of the people I worked with were great and are probably the only reason I continued to work there.

    Cons

No feedback from upper management, poor working conditions, not respected or appreciated at all for any effort. Money is standard for any similar customer service job. Often having to work in very stressful busy environement. Seems the goal of the company is to make money regardless of how much pressure the staff are under and no concern of staff members being poorly treated. Procedures thought up by head office management who cascade there policys and procedures through to customer service reps via middle management without having any real expierience of how things operate in the real world. Extreme pressure put on staff to perform and step in line or face consequences.

I have been working at Hertz full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You get to test drive the nice cars, if your location is lucky enough to get them.

    Cons

Management sucks. A lot of favoritism going on. Pay sucks for the amount of hours you put in a week, 45! The bonuses suck. It's literally not worth it unless you plan on becoming a BM but then you get abused by upper management and rude customers. Customers suck!

I worked at Hertz full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Always on your feet. They care about customers A lof of overtime Promote from within

    Cons

Pay. Start off at 14 per hour Gossipy, immature culture. Coworkers will throw you under the bus to get ahead. Upper management fires employees (not at fault) without hearing said employee's side. They kiss customer's bootys (it says no swearing :( )so much that they don't care about yours. Branches are never staffed so you are always working OT. If you kiss booty, don't worry. A promotion is in your near future, no matter how under-qualified you are for it.
