I have been working at HomeAdvisor full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Potential for good commission Great managers and coworkers Fun workplace Relaxed dress code

    Cons

A lot of angry consumers Call center

    Advice to Management

Make tier pay be an average of the 4 categories that determine your tier pay, instead of the lowest. People work extremely hard and get screwed because of one category.

I have been working at HomeAdvisor full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Fun office, nice people, and cool workspace

    Cons

Lies the reps about what the job is, doesn’t provide proper training, very cliquey, promise of fast advancement is not real, commission targets aren’t as attainable as they tell you. Yes, Sales is hard. Cold calling isn’t easy and gets old. BUT what they sell to you in interviews is a total lie and isn’t what actually happens. Training isn’t really training. Lack of support. If you aren’t best friends with the management...

I worked at HomeAdvisor full-time for less than a year

      Pros

      Free food, casual dress code

      Cons

Honest to god, you're cold calling someone who said no 4 times before to someone else at HomeAdvisor. When you do manage to sell someone, expect them to call you about all the charges HomeAdvisor billed them for. Company is taking on water as expected of a service meant to make money off the "hidden" lead fees. Managers will always be on a call with you when you are at credit card information to help you "convince" them...
