RecommendsApproves of CEOI have been working at Hudec Dental full-time for more than a year
Pros
Honestly, I can’t complain. They have offered support, and the hours are great. I’m 15 minutes from home. I come from a place where everything was micro managed, so it feels nice to have some freedom. The Hudecs themselves are great. Very family oriented and willing to come up with solutions to concerns with you. They also promote internally!!!
Cons
Some of the admin stuff like credentialing is very old school but hey! It works. Also, benefits are expensive but I think that’s everywhere.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Hudec Dental full-time for more than a year
Pros
Get a paycheck, -----but what you will have to endure to get it.
Cons
This has been the most unprofessional dental environment I have ever worked in. From the absolute top of the food chain to the management level there is an atmosphere of stress and belittling that permeates from them. There are regular belittling rants that get emailed to "providers" always in a lecturing, rude, belittling way. Never get email when things are good or you have gone above and beyond. They are really out of touch with what actually happens day to day. Kinda hard to humanize a spreadsheet....just saying. If you are a new grad, a Dental assistant, Hygienist, EFDA, or Dentist this place will love bomb you to get you (example: current $5,000 sign on bonus for Hygienist etc....) However, once employed you see the real deal, 30 minute cleanings with up to 16 patients per day in some Hygienist schedules. Gossip is the norm between management that goes from office to office. Medicaid patients seem to be the bread and butter of the majority of their 19 offices, but behind the scenes these patients are looked down on, even moved if a cash or regular insurance patient is available. This place will suck your soul and make you rethink why you went into dentistry. They try to say it is a family practice, but it follows a corporate model and if you don't produce to their sometimes unrealistic expectations then watch out. BEWARE.

Pros
Good community reputation. They will offer bonus per production but this will carry over into the cons
Cons
The owner yells at the staff and treats them less than human. They will lock the licensed staff in at a beginning rate and keep it at that rate. So the part where the pro comes into the cons realm. The bonus they offer for production will be used against you when u ask for a raise. So the benefits they offer you health etc.. Pto. Profit sharing etc... They will include that factored into your hourly pay when asking for a wage increase. Here is the catch. The benefits they offer you will be included into your hourly pay when you ask for a raise. So if you tell them the area pays 20 an hour per experience etc.... They will find a way to average out your benefit in which they offer to each employee btw. And come up with your hourly pay avg. When factored in. Sad but true. Have the written proof. Any beginning lawyer etc .. Would eat that up. An easy win for them. But it's not worth the headache. Great name, great group of people that work there. They are dedicated even when the owner yells at them and makes them feel low. Forgetting that they started somewhere at some point.
