      Pros

Above average salary, excellent benefits, inclusive work environment, diversity in the workforce. Covid-19 leadership and response was excellent - both employee and client focused.

      Cons

Lack of work-life balance, too many internal meetings and communications

Best Company I have ever worked for!

      Pros

Huron truly cares about and for it's employees. It not only survived the pandemic, it THRIVED and helped it's customers do the same. It is inclusive and sensitive to today's issues and actively has teams employees can be involved in. It is the first company I have worked for that promotes work/life balance - AND MEANS IT!

      Cons

Difficult at times to know everything the company does as it has many branches and about 5000 employees.

      Pros

Decent wages, a lot of nice people. Good amount of cute office activities.

      Cons

Laid off a large number of employees, some of whom had been working there for 6+ years, with no warning during the pandemic. Also you have to work some unpaid overtime.

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Opportunities abound in any direction you wish to pursue

      Cons

It's a big company, 4,000+ so hard to know exactly what a person's role is based on common titles of Associate, Manager, and Director

      Pros

The company runs impeccably. These people hire the best of the best in the industry. The paid time off is the biggest perk of working for Huron.

      Cons

Analysts work really hard and are known to stay in their role for several years before advancing.

Great place to start a career

Jun 18, 2021 - Healthcare Consulting Analyst in Chicago, IL
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Managers really take time to help you develop as a professional and as a healthcare subject matter expert. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the healthcare industry as ex-front line healthcare workers and previous hospital management - Structured path to promotion (pretty standard 2-3 years) - Non-competitive environment

      Cons

      - Little to no say in project staffing - Long project durations (1yr+) - Implementation heavy, no strategy work - Lots of red tape and formalities of a traditional corporate company
