I have been working at Indian Overseas Bank full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Spread all over the country. Has good scope for progress.

    Cons

Poor management style. Nowadays poor Industrial Relations. Staff not happy as in earlier days. Victimisation aplenty. No fair treatment of staff, especially officers. Most cases are dealt as per the person known to officers either in association or management (both for promotions and transfers). Many undeserving candidates are promoted while the really deserving and performing ones are sidelined. Increasing NPAs. Govt policy of bringing i outsiders to head the bank is bring down the performance as they do not have the loyalty and sincerity that a in-house executive has.
