    Pros

Exceptional product/platform this is going places. Great, really smart people who care and are great to be around. Management and HR fast to take action when issues arise.

    Cons

Mid Stage startup with typical growing pains. Improvement needed in the areas of visibility and accountability in some of the internal teams.

    Advice to Management

Don't assume that your message and values are trickling down to the staff. Be clear and push for what you believe is needed to improve results and don't live with the Status Quo. People want to get better and be more successful, you just have to ask and lead them and not just manage them.

    Pros

great tech, when it works. Too much downtime

    Cons

Leadership are arrogant and have trouble making touch decisions to improve the company. Software has too much downtime and they refuse to do anything about it. Company believes that a little bit of downtime is acceptable. Not in the CDN space it isn't.

    Advice to Management

Shore up your availability of the product. Bring in professionals that know how to test and roll out changes that will not break the software.

1: Do not join until you want to work for free.
2: No allowances for 12+ hours shift everyday.

    Advice to Management

1: People are doing way to much and dedicating their personal time for your work and you don't care at all.

I have been working at Instart Logic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

it's a nice, comfortable place to work - from the office space to the food and the people, plenty of parking, the occasional fun event. It's a nice place to go every day to put in a hard day of work. I really can't complain.

Every company has tough personalities, but Instart Logic does not have any ego-driven jerks - maybe just one. Even those who can be jerks at times are well intentioned / company driven - it seems.

    Cons

It's incredibly busy - not the work hours, but the workload. You leave most days feeling like you're still way behind. There aren't enough people to take on the amount of work there is to be done. We simply need to make more money so we can hire more.

    Advice to Management

Work culture could use some attention. And by "culture", I don't mean just the fun stuff. Fun will (or might not) come organically as you hire the right people. Instart needs to work better as a team.

I have been working at Instart Logic full-time

    Pros

I love that we're building something very cool and innovative. The platform architecture has enabled us to build several products around experience and revenue management.

Most people are down to earth, hard working and ready to collaborate. It used to be a great place to work among really smart people.

    Cons

Culture is down the drain. Legacy, and good, employees are leaving by the droves and the new people in their place are egotistic blowhards who love to talk a good game among people who look like them.

All those past reviews about certain misogynistic people are true. Its becoming a toxic culture, enabled by the senior management.

    Advice to Management

Dig deep why good employees are leaving. Invest in keeping the hard workers happy, beyond food and drinks. When you see someone interrupting, patronizing or talking over someone else, speak up.
If the Management doesnt do anything about the culture, no employee will speak up. They will resort to writing anonymous reviews and then leaving.

I have been working at Instart Logic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Disruptive technology that can be further developed to address many use cases.
Market dominated by a giant, Akamai, (now run by private equity) that has lost innovation....current employees are fleeing in droves opens up a great opportunity for Instart Logic
Flushed out previous management that were under-performing
Industry giant, Mark Templeton, is now chairman and is providing executive guidance and supervision.
Marketing and sales management team upgraded and have been delivering the numbers.
Culture went from grim to fun in the last 90 days... Awesome SKO last week!

    Cons

Typical start-up issues...many things to do and not enough people to get them done thus need to prioritize carefully

    Advice to Management

Be smart in your investments and time. Make sure you do what is necessary to keep your best people motivated and focused. Continue to differentiate from being just a CDN.

    Pros

Very nice, intelligent, hard working co-workers with good hearts.

    Cons

fun is gone. lost faith in CEO. Lots of work. Not enough people to get it all done. Promotions are not common and they go to the wrong people. The guy who faked it until he made it got promoted then moved on. How could Fooled HR and CEO. It isn't good when a CEO can be so easily fooled.

To see how bad its become, see "
"Turnaround in Progress....be wary of "Fake News" from Previous Under Achieving Employees". Coworkers who admit to thinking they're better than others is new. Before people had a conscious. Now some feel OK to sound like Trump.

    Advice to Management

Sell soon before everyone else quits. And get rid of the men who don't treat women right.

Still some very good engineers are around, but lot of good people are leaving.

    Cons

Company is in down slope. Many incompetency in management , and those people are still around. Arrogance of few making others insecure . Do not see attitude of management changed a bit even after so many good people are leaving . This is very scary ...

    Advice to Management

Nothing. I think management have screwed up completely . Company needs a drastic change top down if it needs to survive .
