I have been working at J.P. Morgan part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits (3 weeks vacation at start, sick time, personal time) Higher paying than other PT teller jobs Job is easy once you finish training

    Cons

Still a customer service job (have to be overly friendly, getting yelled at, on your feet) Not always treated fairly by bankers Better for someone just out of high school or in college, not really sustainable to live off a part time job post college Don't expect to start at 20hrs and get promoted to more. There are 25, 30, 35hr positions but they don't tend to change while you are working, you would have to find another.

    Pros

The people you work with are nice and the company has good benefits.

This company is good to work for but there was a recent management change That really disrupted my view of the department. Not Good anymore and would leave

    Negative Outlook

I worked at J.P. Morgan part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits, free bank accounts all holidays off

    Cons

No real pay. Ease you in with $15 starting just to put you in for 20hrs a week. A lot more work than it was a year ago, now you do teller jobs + banker jobs without getting banker commission because you're an "Associate Banker" which is just a glorified teller with more work. Always worried about sales even though they took away teller commission, currently taking away banker commission, it's even harder to become a banker now if you want it

Glass ceiling does exist at this company. Difficult to make more money. Transfers are usually lateral.
