I worked at Jaguar Land Rover full-time

    Pros

Amazing colleagues, and great work life balance

    Cons

Not close to manufacturing. A lot of engineering is outsourced, end up being a project manager

I worked at Jaguar Land Rover full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Got to work on projects that affected the business in the real world
Great community of Graduates and Undergraduates to network and socialise with

    Cons

Delay in being given projects to work on
Managers too busy to play the role of a mentor-only had 3 very brief meetings over 3 months

    Advice to Management

Place Undergrads in departments that really do need them, where they can make the best out of them.

I have been working at Jaguar Land Rover full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazing brands and incredible products. I feel a sense of pride working for such a British success story. Big discounts on the cars.

    Cons

Old fashioned culture. Little in the way of flexible working (don't walk the talk). Not very open with employees. Staff treated as a cost not an asset.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your people. Get senior leaders in from external companies who have experience of better, more progressive cultures who can set a better example.

I have been working at Jaguar Land Rover full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Mostly great people, two great brands and (some) great products

    Cons

Recent market performance has left some areas in panic mode. There is a culture within some areas of seniors surrounding themselves with rulesets and ‘yes men’ which prevents big issues being surfaced and dealt with. Arrogant pricing policies for some products

    Advice to Management

Listen! Stop leaving bad news untold - it rarely gets better
