I worked at Jurys Inns full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Some good benefits and many nice staff members.

    Cons

The management is attrocious, they failed to find replacements for staff quickly enough forcing everyone else to pick up the slack. Management also decided to change the menu without informing the kitchen in time, so there was no stock to cook the menu. There are many incompetent floor staff. Management also failed to understand previous employee to employee histories which endangered staff, the condition of back of house through out one of the hotels is poor with broken equipment including extraction and air-con. There were discrepancies in pay which were common for several employees including myself. Some management seem prejudiced and seem to like getting their friends and family jobs so they can have a defensive clique around them. All in all the worst company I have ever worked for. Avoid.
