Pros
The pay and benefits are good. Reliable income. One manager walked into a terrible situation and did more than someone could ask for given the mess.
Cons
Work load triple what it should be. Was told corp did not care about quality and could ask them myself. Made a mistake with me and would not make it right. Management wrote up too quickly. Had a VP that was so bad no one would talk to her. Did not recognize things like no falls in 14 months, code blue 2 a week to 1 in three months. Par for dressing supplies was 34 when actual needed was 54 nothing done about it.

Pros
Won't give me even a little raise to come back full time but can continue to pay the other tech that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING more than I make and they've only been doing it for a few years..NIT I'm sure the residents on the hall I usually work are going to be devastated when they find out I'm leaving 😪
Cons
It's nasty and stinks and the rooms are all cluttered making it a very high risk for a fire starting and nobody being about to get in time 😭

- 1.07 Nov 2023Registered NurseFormer Employee, less than 1 yearDenver, CO
Pros
None, because unfortunately they rescinded my offer prior to start.
Cons
This organization is unfortunately missing out on good, retainable hires. I was relocating to the area and received minimal communication on the hiring process with regards to on boarding. When my clearances didn’t come in time, they pushed my start date out by a month and then a week before I was supposed to start, they conveniently stated that they needed to “rescind” an offer. Completely unprofessional behavior. Couldn’t even spell the word rescind right in the email. Save yourself the time in trouble, and find an organization that will stick to what it says it can deliver.

Pros
Great coworkers Good work experience for resume.
Cons
To the actual owners, it is all just investment property for them. They don’t care if the healthcare staff that work in their properties actually have the supplies or equipment in working order to meet the basic expectations of their assigned role. Culture of the hospital is kind of septic, and comes from the top down. Could really be so much better if the people who own it really wanted to make it a quality establishment.

- 1.017 Aug 2023HIM TechCurrent Employee, more than 1 year
Pros
Flexible schedule, PTO, Nice Coworkers
Cons
They underpay immensely to begin with and they have cut down even more in the last year. The HIM Tech position is a manger position but they eliminated the title in order to underpay. You are running the entire department but not getting the pay or title for it. They actually got rid of a lot of the managerial positions so the opportunity for growth is slim, this also meant there was recent demotions/lay offs to a lot of people. Some been here 20+ years. Money is the only concern to Kindreds CEOs. Instead of investing in its employees they treat everyone as replaceable and not worth the time. If moneys the goal that seems to contradict itself but they seem to think they know better than anyone and they’ll treat you that way too. It’s a very top down management process so anyone below the CEOs aren’t included in any department changes but the CEOs have no clue what any department actually does. There’s no respect or communication, they make changes and just tell you at random so there’s never any time to prepare for change.
