I have been working at L'Oréal for less than a year

    Pros

Free product allowance Relatively good pay compared with others Nice office

    Cons

Managers treat interns poorly and micromanage for the smallest details. Missions as an intern very uninteresting and operational tasks. No organizational processes whatsoever, any task may fall on any product manager or (full time employees, not interns) A lot of gossip and backstabbing in the office environment. Within 6 months I've seen employees who got burned out and quit

Hi there, we're sorry your experience at L’Oréal is far from perfect and appreciate your honest feedback. We are surprised because usually, we see reviews of interns talking about challenging and meaningful work and we regret you did not have the same experience. We're working every day to constantly improve the workplace experience for our colleagues and we are already happy to see you enjoy most of them. Regarding culture or workload, we encourage you to voice any concerns to your manager and HR partners who are best equipped to help. Thank you again for providing your thoughts, we wish you a better start for 2020. Madeline

I worked at L'Oréal for less than a year

    Pros

From day one, the interns have real responsibilities. The managers take time & resource to give proper training to interns. There are mid-term and final review for the intern to see further career opportunities within the group. The team overall is nice and supportive. The salary is competitive. It has been an amazing learning journey.

    Cons

My N+2 manager is mean and not easy to work with. A lot of working late. As a non-French speaker in the team (the majority being French) I felt lonesome from time to time.
