- will fire people anytime they want. You get a video call from the manager out of the blue saying that it's your last day, then they’ll just cut off all access to slack, etc.
- give severance pay for 2 months and are VERY proud of it.
- the reason for the lay off is because they don’t find you relevant anymore. Like they don’t know where to put you, or they developed a new goal, then they cut you off. Saying things like they don’t want to hold you back from thriving elsewhere.
- no performance review but make it as one of their justifications to fire people.
- lay off without warning, and regardless of the employees current situation. Pregnant, supporting family members or even if you are a senior etc.
- romanticising working extra hours.
- health benefits only for those in the US.
- keep collecting employee feedback but hardly addressed any effectively.
- hires globally and expecting people to have global skills, but pay them based on local pay.
- have to work extra hours and cater to Western time zone while being paid little, especially for underpaid countries.
- a senior can be paid less than junior, meanwhile being assigned to a much more complex tasks.
- no salary raise at all despite extra hours and good performance.
