I have been working at Leighton Contractors full-time

    Pros

The company's MD and HR always tries to incentive best working environment, great teams and people. Great opportunities to move/grow internally.

    Cons

The company tries to push the "Work Life Balance" value but, in most of the cases, doesn't really get through as it ends up depending on the pressure push by management. Company is currently facing many changes that creates instability feeling across the board. Many redundancies, job cuts, teams being sent to offshore and more to happen along 2014.

I have been working at Leighton Contractors

    Pros

Still has some good people left

    Cons

HR and one or two people conspired to make their own "boys' club" And the management let them. Management use the scarce job situation as leverage, use passive aggressive bullying to let staff know that you have to do as I say or else. Work life balance is work much heavier than life, the work life balance slogan is just lip service. HR and one or two people have more say in who's hired and who's fired, and the management let them. Management seem to embrace pseudo intellectuals and idiot savants, accept poor performance as normative. Employees suffer fools in leadership, if there is one.
