I have been working at Liberty Mutual Insurance full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-A company concerned with employees well-being, diversity + inclusion, and doing the 'right thing' for it's customers -A company that encourages internal employee movement across teams, depts, and areas of expertise

    Cons

-Tone at the top puts a lot of pressure on those below; i.e. if it's a priority for the business, HR has to make it happen, regardless of the cost to its employees and their capacity -Liberty pays it's employees very well, but that comes at a cost. Work is poured onto those that have proven themselves as performers, and "work/life balance" becomes more of a token phrase to hire new talent and less of a practice that is encouraged and followed day to day given how busy all departments are.

    Pros

Very professional and positive company. Management is very effective yet personal attention to employees. Work - Life balance. Pay. If I was not going through personal, life changing issues, I would have never left. The management and HR worked with me in every possible way.

    Cons

None that I can think of.
