I worked at Live Nation Entertainment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Exciting environment
    Room to grow
Passionate people genuinely seeking to improve the experience for both the fans and the industry as a whole

    Cons

Extremely poor renumeration packages. While this is par for the course though the industry, Live Nation are allowing a lot of talent to slip through their fingers as employers leave to earn higher amounts (at least 50% in most cases) in other sectors. LN might want to consider being the exception to the rule.

    Advice to Management

Pay staff what they are worth and perhaps there will be improved staff retention

I worked at Live Nation Entertainment full-time

    Pros

It's a great company to work for, nit because of the interesting subject matter, but because of the people. There are a ton of talented people and the folks that have been there for a while blend well with the incoming people. Folks that have been there a while know that change and evolution is important.

    Cons

The different divisions could work better together and the fact that it's a decentralized company is not an excuse. People who work in North American Concerts, at all levels, should support the Sponsorship team better. Live Nation was built to be a fantastic proposition for sponsors and all facets of the company should understand that and I'm not certain that many believe that. I actually tried to put a sponsorship deal together for Live Nation that got submarined by someone within the company. How is that a good thing for the company and stockholders.

    Advice to Management

Because Live Nation is a decentralized company is not an excuse. Synergy used to be a big buzz word that needs to come back at Live Nation. Conflicting interests do happen at big companies, but they should be minimized as much as possible.
