I have been working at Lovisa full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

If you’re determined in this company, you get what you put in for sure! So many opportunities available! Management are empowering other woman and supporting each other. You learn so much from this company! Alongside of your 50% discount on everything you learn the ins and outs of running a business. Every week is different and it never gets boring... management have amazing ways of driving motivation with their team.

    Cons

Not an easy job! It is fast paced with a high turn over.

I worked at Lovisa full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    50% off staff discount

    Cons

I have worked for this company for 1 and half year. The upper management is horrible the way they talk to the staff is terrible. The regional managers don’t care if your a human , they will abuse you and swear it you all the time even if you have finished all your tasks. From experience I am telling you guys. Do not work here its a terrible company unless you want to torture yourself. Look at all the reviews this company only has 1.3 stars . There staff turnover is out of control every month new manager, new part timers.

I worked at Lovisa full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Discount and it’s a job.

    Cons

No overtime. You get paid wrong. Area managers belittle you and treat you like a child. Worst micromanaged experience. Unrealistic deadlines for vm. Having to work till 11pm sometimes 12 and then being expected back to work the morning shift. Not respect or care for health or well being.

I have been working at Lovisa full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    You get 50% off product.

    Cons

I have worked for Lovisa for 4 years. No respect from upper management such as regionals and the state manager. You never get rewarded for all of the hard work and extra hours it. They continue to put you down and attack your personality traits if you are not their 'ideal fake retail person'. You will only be respected and promoted if you look the part and are constantly being told to look a certain way from upper management. You never get to take leave as there is always a 'block out period' and there is no consideration for emergencies or commitments. If you are sick then you need to cover the shift or else they make you come into work. Tasks are set in unrealistic time framed and there is unrealistic expectations from all team. You will always work long hours and not get paid any extra to stay back.

I have been working at Lovisa full-time

    Pros

    - Discounted jewellery - Nice jewellery and stores - Mostly nice team members (which is standard, not everyone is going to be nice) - good as a first job as will hire casuals with zero experience, but only if you're young (I know that's discriminatory, but that's the truth) - can use the experience gained in this job to then get a better job

    Cons

    - Expect you to work for free (as in you don't get paid to open or close, for training or for team meetings) - expected to mop floors after close, using water from bathroom as stores have no taps and not get paid for doing it - you're expected to pay for items for store out of own pocket instead of petty cash - toxic work environment - they cross the line from being assertive in getting sales results into bullying - few to zero opportunities for bathroom breaks - if you're off sick, even with a doctors note, expect to be harrassed - you will prolly will cry throughout your employment here

Not even one girl stays for long. Rude customers. It's not a styling role rather a saleswomen role where you have to convince customers
