Great pay, benefits, work life balance, and full of fantastic people. The rate of change is significant, but this should be seen as a huge opportunity.

I worked at M&G Prudential full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Experienced and high quality staff. Good pay, benefits and terms. Successful business which is highly profitable. Investment professionals from M&G are excellent. Significant investment in technology and digital has improved work environment. New building at 10 Fenchurch Avenue is fabulous and enables agile working practices

    Cons

New management from BT in Ops and Technology are bringing BT style programme/project management practices which have curtailed progressive and successful agile implementation in favour of more command and control style PMO managed Change/Transformation function. Mindset is more on outsourcing vs. developing the excellent in house teams.

    Advice to Management

Trust and value the excellent people you have. Learn to be humble. Understand what made this company what it is and build on that.

    Pros

People are v friendly New office with great facilities New policies worklife balance is excellent

    Cons

Caring element of the organisation has disappeared somewhat. People are siphoned off into roles without discussion and not in line with their career progression. Senior management seem relieved when people resign as it means they can fill their role elsewhere.

Take care of your people’s careers in London
