- Best among investment banks for work/life balance (but more could still be done) - Have made effort to improve culture and develop more flexible working practices - Generally good people - Entrepreneurial culture and freedom to pursue new initiatives - Results based remuneration and progression - Market remuneration
Cons
- Entrepreneurial culture leads to lack of top down direction - no vision/strategy from management - EQ level among senior staff often lacking - Hours are long (min 70hrs p/w, often much more) and demands are high - Work can be repetitive
