I have been working at Main Street America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pay and benefits are not bad...

    Cons

IT Management loves micromanaging, they invest employee's time reactively resolving problems in old archaic systems rather than thinking how to resolve issues in the long run. IT department is a joke, from top to bottom, CIO is clueless on strategy and vision. She just keeps the lights on and keeps herself surrounded by people with the same lack of knowledge and experience (IT Directors). Instead of consolidating systems and thinking on how to become more efficient, which could impact the business and also resource productivity, they tend to take the easiest decisions which are the most expensive ones most of the time, regardless if it's the best for the company. As long as they keep the lights on, they keep pouring money into non-sense projects. Still, at the end of the day, the directors and CIO get their big checks and bonuses, no matter what.

I have been working at Main Street America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The pay is decent and Benefits are OK

    Cons

This is the worst company I have ever worked from in my entire career! It starts from the Top Management. The CIO is absolutely crazy! She yells and screams at her subordinates. Hr does nothing about it! She and her direct reports are unqualified for their positions. For three years in a row we can not even pass a successful Disaster Recovery! The CIO is so stupid she decided to move to another manage service company instead of working on consolidating the systems. She has absolutely no business sense! And three years in a row no bonus only to the executives. The IT dept is an afterthought with the executives.
