I worked at Maples Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Full-time job as a start and decent medical insurance

    Cons

Awful environment, FAKE people around especially in HR, you will meet rude people occasionally, backward thinking company, they are not willing to invest into people and the proper software. They will blame you very quickly and will require you to be apologetic for the things you are not in full control of. Micromanaging will drive you crazy, there is no freedom and a huge lack of trust. The work is NOT hard but very routine and manual. Tasks were extremely boring and didn't contribute to the growing of analytical skills. If you have better options, just choose another company over it.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Maples Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Nice colleagues to work with

    Cons

Cayman is a small place people don't want to address issues of bullying or deal with management who should not be in their jobs because they are related to or friends with them. FA and IT have better more transparent management. Areas to stay away from Entity Services, HR, Finance.

I worked at Maples Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good location Casual Friday Ok for a first full time job

    Cons

Some Senior Management and staff are very unprofessional in that they spend the whole day chatting and laughing at their desks (very loudy). Favoritism Not enough work to keep you going. Most likely to be bored most of the time and have to keep asking for work. Better suited to someone who is professionally qualified. The nice people always move on leaving the unprofessional behind Hard to progress unless you are "in" with the senior people A lot of people are hard to tolerate
