    I worked at McDonald's Australia part-time

    Pros

Very flexible as you can change and swap your shifts

    Cons

Might have to work overtime .

    Advice to Management

Increased communication with employees. And assigning employees to where they like to work as this would be productive

I worked at McDonald's Australia part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Good experience in a fast paced work environment
    -Flexible hours
    -Discount on food for employees
    -Free drinks.

    Cons

-Bad training, or in my case simply not enough training
    -Usually understaffed
-Young inexperienced managers that get really stressed and in turn make employees stressed as well
-More concern with how fast the product is served, rather than the inherent quality of that product.

    Advice to Management

Chill out a bit, I know it's stressful but getting angry at employees only serves to lower morale and make performance even worse.

  8. "A fast paced work place, you learn quickly on the job. The problems I had were purely subjective against coworkers."

I worked at McDonald's Australia part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    20% Discount on items

First to know about new promotions

Lots of different stations to be trained on and room to grow

    Great first job

    Easy to apply for

    Cons

Expected to do everything faster than their computerised timer without making any mistakes (Drivethru)

Hard to hear orders through headsets (Drivethru)

Very busy on weekend afternoons (Anywhere)

Leave every shift covered in grease and smelling like fries

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees. Remember they’re mostly stressed teens, they’re gonna make mistakes and slowly get used to the systems. The actual human is more important than a timer.

    I worked at McDonald's Australia part-time

    Pros

Good experience, good first job, good training. Great for someone looking for flexible hours and experience as a first job.

    Cons

Average pay, draining atmosphere, constantly pushed, being the brunt of managers attitudes, not being able to do very many things right, customers can be a huge pain
