      A Declining Work Environment

      Pros

      - benefits were pretty nice - work loads can be very light at times (which negatively impacts growth)

      Cons

      - promotions are given based on time and friendship, not talent and hard work - management refuses to listen to employees ideas and opinions - management is formed from a politic heavy, good ole boy system - turnover rates have gotten pretty high due to unhappy employees - the company seems to be stuck in the ways of the late 1900s, which heavily negates productivity and overall personal growth

      If you like status quo - this is your place to go. If seniority and tenure is your driver over developing skills - this is your place to go. If you enjoy the good ole boys network and can "fit" in- this is your place to go. If you like working smart and being a top performer yet rewarded similar to those just waiting to retire- this is your place.

      Cons

      - status quo - seniority and tenure over competence - good ole boys network - top performers rewarded similar to those just waiting to retire - they can't develop you but also won't support your development for fear of you leaving - certain departments shown favoritism - lacks diversity in management - bullying and bad behavior by a few in finance/accounting
