Pros

Some decent staff still around … for now

Cons

- Revenue target driven, not client results driven - Zero transparency on purpose - Executive boys’ club - Under-qualified management - Clause to not discuss salary in contract - Extreme lack of diversity and attempts to be diverse - Deceitful approach to clients and delivery - Horrific HR management - Getting a client is the only objective. No real attempt is made to deliver good, or even sound results - Pay is poor and there is openly no intention to change this - Could not retain staff if their lives depended on it - Positions resigned for will never be filled, even in key management roles - Responsibility flows downwards - Harassment is commonplace and accepted - No clue on how to deliver projects for clients - Partnerships with large companies are put above client needs every time - No culture or desire to foster a good one

Pros

-The initial idea of building Salesforce capabilities was promising. -Acquired successful companies like Amicus, Davanti, and Aware.

Cons

-The integration of acquired companies has been a complete failure. -There is no sense of culture or team cohesion, creating a toxic work environment with only a few exceptions. -Employees receive no support, and there are no opportunities for growth with only a few exceptions. - The company is clueless about managing big projects and running a consultancy - The company has faced numerous layoffs over the past two years due to mismanagement. - Many managers with fancy titles lack the necessary skills and contribute nothing but corporate politics and noise. - Most employees are demotivated, doing the bare minimum just to get paid.

Pros

Social aspects were commendable, great set of colleagues.

Cons

* The turnover is phenomenal, every week there's someone leaving for something better * New talent is brought in, but sometimes they end up leaving really quickly. * Good people who are just doing their job are quickly dismissed within their probation period * Promises are made of career growth and development, but then set the bar waaaay to high in order for people to achieve this despite the hard work they put in * Management to a considerable extent are not willing to step in and prevent their colleagues from being bullied. I saw one fellow developer get chewed out by a client who was explaining the technical difficulties of their project (all valid points) only to be reprimanded and put on a Performance Improvement Plan. They were moved on from that project, only to find that the client later had taken all the advice that same developer had given and implemented every single suggestion. * A recent set of redundancies has put the entire team at an all time low and worrying about job security, only to find that measures could have been taken to prevent these redundancies. One developer who was with us had over two decades of experience and it's going to be hard to see them leave. * Merkle seem to do a lot of mergers and acquisitions every six to nine months to obtain new staff, but then seem to make cutbacks to retain that staff. * Too many "CEOs"... Do they even know how much this affects the staff? But all but one former CEO seemed to have the company's employees' best interests at heart... * Upper Management seems to "answer" questions, but when you break it down there's a lot of bullet dodging and word salad being used without any actual substance...
