I have been working at Mesa Air full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Young and fun coworkers. Will meet awesome people to work and be friends with. Move up in seniority pretty quickly and line holders can manipulate schedule easily.

    Cons

The pay could be better, and benefits. Crew schedulers and management sometimes trick new hires into failure.

I have been working at Mesa Air full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Bases, Upgrade time, Going to CRJ900 and E175 pure fleet. No 200s. No 700s

    Cons

Pay. Companies management philosophy is for you to leave. “Juniority” they call it when bragging to investors meaning most folks are not “Senior” thus they pay them less.

I have been working at Mesa Air full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You get seniority quickly, I got my line after 3 months of reserve. I pretty much always get the days off that I want and can work a schedule with few hours if I want. Flight benefits are the biggest draw and are worth it if you use them.

    Cons

The pay is not great but you should know that already when signing up. Management does not care about you so don’t care about them. The attendance policy can be tricky and you are usually not given the benefit of the doubt so know your rights. Crew tracking will use and abuse you.

I have been working at Mesa Air full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Overall fairly good company. Understanding of family situations and worked with me during family issues. Union reps are pretty resourceful and knowledgeable of company policies and helpful in making sure policies are executed properly for employees. Friendly coworkers - I have had very few issues and feel like employees are like family.

    Cons

Lack of communication with upper management. Base administrators can only provide us with so much detail when they have little amount of information themselves. Pay could be better.

    Pros

Training department willing to work with you if you are having a hard time if you show effort.

    Cons

Pay, the company pinches pennies in every aspect of that job.
